Danielle Baratta, MS, PA-C graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2002, earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After working in the general medicine setting for several years, including Family Practice, Urgent Care, and at a military base in Aerospace Medicine, she discovered her love for Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) once she joined the University of Arizona BMT program. In 2010, she relocated to Tampa to join Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Ms. Baratta is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine. She is an active member of the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation and American Academy of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is involved in training Advanced Practice Professionals who are new to the BMT field. She participates in seeing patients on various clinical trials as a part of the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy multidisciplinary team. She was recently promoted to the Lead APP of the inpatient BMT team.
