Leadership Minor
The interdisciplinary Minor in Leadership Studies is coordinated by the TECO Energy Center for Leadership and is designed for students who want to further develop leadership competencies and skills. Students complete three required leadership courses and then choose three leadership electives from an approved list. In conjunction with their coursework and in consultation with their leadership advisor, students complete a number of experiential activities (90 hours minimum). They document and reflect on these experiences in a leadership portfolio, which is evaluated at the end of each semester.
Professional Development Practicum
In order to add value to the MBA experience and enhance the professional development of our students, the MBA curriculum was revised to include the Professional Development Practicum.
Leadership Coaching
The Leadership Coaching Program brings together MBA students with leaders in Tampa Bay. Members of the business and professional community have an opportunity to coach and mentor UT students aspiring to be the leaders of tomorrow.
Leadership Awards
The University of Tampa recognizes outstanding individuals and student organizations at its annual Leadership Awards Night.
