Career Specialties: Kessenich is a specialist in adult health and osteoporosis.
Professional and Community Activities: Kessenich speaks frequently to community and other groups
concerning osteoporosis. She is research chair for the National
Endocrine Society, faculty counselor for the Delta Beta Chapter of
Sigma Theta Tau, faculty advisor for the organization of UT student
nurses and works as a nurse practitioner eight hours a week.
She also serves as a peer review editor for numerous nursing
journals, frequently presents at workshops, has published more than 50
articles in various medical journals, and has received several awards
and grants for her research and writing.
