Nurses to Get the Word on Degrees

Published: Dec 12, 2000

Information about The University of Tampa’s new nursing degrees and programs will be presented at a free Nursing Department Information Session on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Plant Hall Grand Salon.

Highlights will include details about the new MSN/MBA joint degree, RN/BSN and RN/BSN/MSN programs, as well as MSN concentrations in family nurse practitioner, adult nurse practitioner and administration.  Following the information session will be a free domestic violence update workshop where participants can earn one contact hour.

Only registered nurses who want to complete the Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Nursing degree are invited to attend.

Any visiting student interested in the BSN is encouraged to bring her or his nursing license and completed applications, as well as transcripts and test scores from all colleges and universities attended, to receive an "instant admissions decision."

Any student interested in the MSN may bring her or his nursing license, completed application, transcripts and test scores from all colleges and universities attended, resume, two professional letters of reference, and a personal statement for an interview and an "instant admissions decision."

Those attending will have an opportunity to meet UT faculty and staff and find answers to their financial aid concerns.
