Charles Skipton specializes in the economic fields of public choice and industrial organization. His research interests include the measurement of trade openness and applied microeconomics.
Professional and Community Activities:
While working for the Joint Economic Committee in the U.S. Congress in 1999-2000, Skipton contributed to numerous publications, exploring such topics as the nation’s trade policies, social security reform, employment trends and other economic issues. Prior to joining The University of Tampa, Skipton taught economics at Florida State University.
