Attorney Greg Kehoe to Discuss Work on Iraqi Special Tribunal at UT Oct. 8

Tampa attorney Greg Kehoe, who led the team of lawyers and investigators which advised the Iraqi Special Tribunal, will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. in Reeves Theater in the Vaughn Center on The University of Tampa campus.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Kehoe will speak about his experiences in working on the tribunal, which was an ad hoc court formed to prosecute Saddam Hussein. He will also speak about his vast national and international law practice.

Kehoe, a shareholder with the law firm Greenberg Traurig, worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as a prosecutor for more than 20 years with postings in the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America. While serving as an assistant U.S. attorney, he was responsible for successfully prosecuting a number of high profile cases involving financial institutions and corporate fraud allegations, as well as racketeering charges.

The presentation is sponsored by UT’s Center for Public Speaking and the Department of Speech, Theatre and Dance.
