Vaughn Courtyard

Vaughn Courtyard The courtyard connects the Vaughn Center, Austin Hall and Brevard Hall, and also serves as the setting for many UT student events. Sixty-five percent of full-time students live on campus, and the residence life staff takes special care to engage students in a lifestyle that’s safe, sociable and stimulating. UT’s state-of-the-art residence halls feature pass-card security, are co-ed, air-conditioned and wired for phones, cable and free access to the Internet. Just off the courtyard is the Dickey Health and Wellness Center.

Art and Polly Pepin Stadium

Art and Polly Pepin Stadium Featuring a 1,500-seat, partially covered grandstand with enclosed press box, meeting space, restrooms and a ticket office, Pepin Stadium is centrally located on UT's campus. The grass field is lighted and bordered by a jogging track. The stadium has hosted several NCAA National Championships and is used for student recreation, intramurals and course activities.

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation UT offers hundreds of organized activities in intramural sports, fitness, club sports and informal recreation, both on and off campus. Students can play on 250 different organized intramural teams throughout the year. The Cass Gym and outdoor basketball and volleyball courts are available for open recreation. Off-campus activities include canoeing, beach excursions, deep-sea fishing, whitewater rafting and more. BikeUT, a University-wide free bike rental program, is also housed here.

Frank and Carol Morsani Hall Frank and Carol Morsani Hall’s food court offers an eclectic mix of dining options for UT students such as Pandini’s (Italian), Panache (dine-in buffet), Jazzman’s Café (coffee and bakery items) and Dairy Queen. Adjacent to Pepin Stadium and the baseball field, it is also home to 448 residents in double rooms.

The Vaughn Center

The Vaughn Center The Vaughn Center serves as the social hub of campus life. Students can participate in more than 160 clubs, organizations and intramural teams. These organizations sponsor thousands of activities and events throughout the year. It is also home to 525 students and houses an impressive student dining facility, commuter lounge, Barnes & Noble University bookstore, computer lab, student affairs offices and the Reeves Theater. Rooms in this hall are double or triple occupancy.

Plant Park

Plant Park Plant Park is adjacent to The University of Tampa on the Hillsborough River. Established in 1891, this historic 7.5-acre park features sculptures, historic cannons and benches. Students are welcome to use the park for recreation and relaxation.

Curtis Hixon Park

Curtis Hixon Park Curtis Hixon Park is located in downtown Tampa and across the Hillsborough River from The University of Tampa. The park holds many concert and art events throughout the year and provides beautiful views of the campus. UT’s urban location offers many opportunities for student internships with area businesses and nonprofits. With 2.7 million people, Tampa Bay is west central Florida's center of government, commerce, communications, business, health care, scientific research, sports, culture and entertainment.
