Visit UT's Campus

This page is for prospective students who will enter UT as a freshman or transfer student. 

The University of Tampa offers several campus visit options to tour the beautiful downtown riverfront campus. Choose from the options below and then use the online calendar to view and register for your visit.

1. DAILY INFORMATION SESSIONS

Sign Up

Daily information sessions occur every weekday and some Saturdays. These visits offer many appointment times and are open to transfer and freshman students. Your visit will begin with an information session led by a member of the admissions staff, followed by a tour of campus with a current student.

Daily Visit Times

Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Select Saturday Mornings

Saturday sessions begin at 10 a.m.

2. OPEN HOUSES

Designed for prospective full-time undergraduates, this popular event brings many students and their families to campus for a full overview of UT. Check out what students enjoyed at Open House by viewing our UT Open House Storify, and then choose the date you wish to attend below and register online:

3. PHYSICS ENHANCED VISIT DAYS

This event provides an enhanced look at our bachelor's degree in physics. In addition to a campus tour, you will tour the brand new physics lab, have lunch with current students from the program and attend a nuclear physics class.

4. NAVIGATING COLLEGE AND JUNIOR HOCKEY

Saturday, April 13, 2019
9:30 a.m.–12 p.m.

This event prepares high school student-athletes on how to navigate the college and/or junior hockey experience. Topics include junior hockey in North America, college admissions process, financial aid, NCAA eligibility issues and an insider’s view of how decisions are made. Speakers include Brian Bradley, former Tampa Bay Lightning player and NHL All-Star; Pat Dunn, former professional hockey player, general manager and NAHL Executive of the Year; Peter Cammick, president/owner of Metro Jets Junior Hockey Club, Fraser, MI; and Brent Benner, assistant vice president for enrollment management at UT and former PHPA and NHL career coach.

5. HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR NONPROFIT TOUR GROUPS

Group Visit Request

Requests for large group visits, including high school students, grades 10-12.

UT is on the banks of the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, easily accessible from I-275. There are a number of nearby hotels. See Hotels and Directions for more information.
