Visit UT's Campus

This page is for prospective students who will enter UT as a freshman or transfer student. 

The University of Tampa offers several campus visit options to tour the beautiful downtown riverfront campus. Choose from the options below and then use the online calendar to view and register for your visit.

1. DAILY INFORMATION SESSIONS

Sign Up

Daily information sessions occur every weekday and some Saturdays. These visits offer many appointment times and are open to transfer and freshman students. Your visit will begin with an information session led by a member of the admissions staff, followed by a tour of campus with a current student.

Daily Visit Times

Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

2. OPEN HOUSES

Designed for prospective full-time undergraduates, this popular event brings many students and their families to campus for a full overview of UT. Check out what students enjoyed at Open House by viewing our UT Open House Storify, and then choose the date you wish to attend below and register online:

3. TRANSFER STUDENT INFORMATION SESSIONS

UT offers monthly information sessions specifically for prospective transfer students. Topics covered at these sessions include transfer credit policies, transfer scholarships and financial aid. Select the date you wish to attend below and register online:  

4. ACADEMIC SPORTS CONFERENCE

This event prepares prospective student-athletes for the realities of intercollegiate athletics. Topics include:

  • The college admissions process and financial aid for student-athletes
  • Communicating with coaches and admissions professionals
  • NCAA eligibility issues
  • Time management for student-athletes in college  

5. HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR NONPROFIT TOUR GROUPS

Group Visit Request

Requests for large group visits, including high school students, grades 10-12. 

Directions and Hotels

UT is on the banks of the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa, easily accessible from I-275. There are a number of nearby hotels. See Hotels and Directions for more information.
