Taylor Lennon has been a principal dancer and choreographer with the Tampa Ballet and director of the modern dance company Susan Taylor and Dancers.
Taylor Lennon performs her story-dances to audiences around the country. In these, she narrates original stories and animates them with dance. The stories are heard nationally on public radio stations. Taylor Lennon will premiere an expanded version of her acclaimed one-woman show, “Telling Secrets: A Moving Memoir,” in the fall of 2009. An avid proponent of health and natural nutrition, Taylor Lennon is the former associate editor of Health Science magazine and the co-editor of two books on diet and healthful living.
Taylor Lennon received Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio’s “Artist of the Year” award in 2005. In 2007, she received the Louise Loy Hunter Award, the highest official honor that can be bestowed on a faculty member at The University of Tampa.
