Republican National Convention in Tampa

The University of Tampa welcomed the 2012 Republican National Convention, held in Tampa Aug. 27-30, as a unique opportunity for students to experience democracy in action. Through internships and volunteer opportunities at the convention to political science studies for freshmen in the RNC 101 module of Gateways, the University has taken advantage to make this engagement a rich educational experience.
