SPARTANS Recruitment Program
The Spartan Parent Alumni Recruiters To Assist New Students (SPARTANS) program is designed to get UT alumni and parents involved in recruiting high-achieving, diverse, well-rounded students to The University of Tampa. SPARTANS will assist the Office of Admissions in meeting its annual enrollment goals.
SPARTANS’ responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Office of Admissions by attending local college fairs
- Attending admitted student receptions in their area
- Staying updated on University of Tampa programs and campus developments
- Interviewing students in their area
- Presenting scholarships to students enrolling in UT at local high school ceremonies
Time Commitment
We are asking that parents and alumni volunteer as their schedule permits. The University of Tampa will reward volunteers who have earned 50 points within two years with a round trip airline ticket to Tampa.
Points System
- College Fair = 10 points
- Admitted Student Reception = 5 points
- Student interviews = 5 points
- Meeting with prospective students and parents = 5 points
- Scholarship ceremonies= 5 points
