Psychology Majors
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Intended for students who will seek employment at the baccalaureate
level or will pursue additional training in applied graduate
programs (e.g., counseling, clinical, industrial/organizational, social
work, organizational behavior, business administration, school
psychology, guidance and counseling, law).
Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Intended to prepare students for graduate programs in the research areas
of psychology (e.g., clinical, social, cognitive psychology,
biopsychology, human and animal experimentation, developmental) and
other graduate programs related to psychology that also require a strong
natural science and mathematics background (e.g., medicine, genetic
counseling, neuroscience, cognitive science).
Minor in Psychology
Students learn the basic principles of psychology.
