Tuition  

Tuition for year one (Aug. 26, 2019, through Aug. 17, 2020) is set at $14,000 per semester, totaling $42,000 for year one.

Fees 

Program fees for year one are $1,450 per semester, totaling $4,350 for year one. Fees are mandatory and will be collected by either UT or third-party vendors.

They cover the following:

  • All textbooks
  • iPad
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
  • White lab coat (The cost of one lab coat only is covered by the program.)
  • One set of program-required scrubs
  • Software/equipment required for ultrasound training, EKG training, virtual patient cases, logging of clinical experiences and high-stakes testing
  • Professional conference attendance (one FAPA conference)
  • Professional organization membership (one AAPA and FAPA)
  • Gross anatomy lab fees and equipment
  • Simulation lab fees
  • Criminal background check (The cost of one criminal background check only is covered by the program.)
  • Urine drug screen (The cost of one urine drug screen only is covered by the program.)

Note: each student will be required to purchase a stethoscope.

Additional Expenses

Additional expenses not charged by the University and that will vary from student to student include rent and utilities, meals and transportation expenses.

Students are not expected to incur additional expenses related to clinical rotation travel, as all clinical sites are within the Tampa Bay Area.

In determining a student’s eligibility for student loans and any other financial aid, the University has established an estimated $62,800 as the total annual cost of attendance (COA) of the first year of the PA program.
