Transfer Orientation

UT requires all new transfer students to attend an orientation program designed specifically for transfers. During this mandatory orientation program, transfer students will receive detailed information about academic policies and the many services available at UT. Students are also strongly encouraged to review academic policies and procedures, as well as specific degree program requirements in the University Catalog.

Students who do not attend orientation will have a registration hold placed on their individual accounts. Those with a hold will not be able to register for classes for the following semester until they visit the Academic Advising Office in Plant Hall, room 336.
