Orientation Service Project
During orientation, new and continuing students will travel to a variety of volunteer agencies in the Tampa community as part of one of two annual volunteer service events coordinated by UT's PEACE (People Exploring Active Community Experiences) Volunteer Center. The programs are designed to engage students in volunteer service and to provide a learning experience that will encourage new students to volunteer on a regular basis through PEACE. By signing up for a half-day service activity, students will earn four community service hours that will be registered through PEACE. These service hours can also be the first entry on a student's co-curricular transcript.

Day of Service

Join
the PEACE Volunteer Center on Monday, Jan. 21, for a day of service in
honor of Martin Luther King Day. Students will have the opportunity to engage
in community service at a variety of locations around the Tampa Bay area.
Snacks and a T-shirt will be provided. To
register for Martin Luther King Day of Service, please sign up on Hire UT. If
you do not have access to Hire UT, you are welcome to email the PEACE
Volunteer Center at peace@ut.edu with your
Name and Student ID number. Your information will be added to our roster.
