Orientation Service Project
During orientation, new and continuing students will travel to a variety of volunteer agencies in the Tampa community as part of one of two annual volunteer service events coordinated by UT's PEACE (People Exploring Active Community Experiences) Volunteer Center. The programs are designed to engage students in volunteer service and to provide a learning experience that will encourage new students to volunteer on a regular basis through PEACE. By signing up for a half-day service activity, students will earn four community service hours that will be registered through PEACE. These service hours can also be the first entry on a student's co-curricular transcript.
