The University of Tampa community is pleased to present Family Orientation to our Class of 2022 parents, family and guardians.
While your students attend their first day of orientation, you are encouraged to attend Family Orientation. This optional morning program will introduce you to the University’s resources and tools to help your student successfully transition to UT.
The Family Orientation schedule-at-a-glance will be available in mid-November.
All residence halls open on Thursday, Jan. 17, for our residential first-year and transfer students. Commuter first-year and transfer students will need to check in for orientation at the Vaughn Center Information Desk, located in the Vaughn Center.
Please note that if you are a parent, family member or guardian of an international student (studying on a visa), international students should arrive on Wednesday, Jan. 16, for a special International Student Orientation program. International students are expected to attend all new student orientation activities Thursday, Jan. 17, through Friday, Jan. 18.
Parents, family members or guardians are free to help students settle into their residence hall rooms on Thursday, Jan. 18, prior to their mandatory floor meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m. In addition to settling into their residence hall rooms, you and your students may elect to tour the campus or visit our historical Plant Hall Museum.
