UT T-Shirt Exchange to Benefit Metropolitan Ministries

As part of orientation on Sept. 3, new students at The University of Tampa had the opportunity to exchange old T-shirts from other universities and colleges for new UT “Spartan Spirit” T-shirts. The UT “Spartan Spirit” T-shirts are gray and feature the school’s mascot, Sparty.

Overall, students turned in 96 T-shirts from institutions ranging from Penn State University, University of Florida, Auburn University, Cornell University, University of South Carolina and numerous others. Those T-shirts will be donated this week to Metropolitan Ministries.

The T-shirt exchange was jointly coordinated by the Office of Orientation and Family Engagement and the Office of Public Information and Publications.
