Local Retailers Invited To Participate in Free Webinar Series About Thriving in COVID-19 Era

Local retailers are invited to participate in a free webinar series that will provide tools to stay afloat during the tough COVID-19 economic climate.

The Lowth Entrepreneurship Center, part of the Sykes College of Business, is located within the Daly Innovation and Collaboration Building at UT.

The webinar series is sponsored by The University of Tampa's Lowth Entrepreneurship Center, and features six sessions addressing such topics as: “Leading Through a Crisis,” “The Post-Pandemic Customer” and “The Retail World of 2021 and Beyond.”

The first webinar will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and future sessions will be held weekly.

The webinar hosts will be Susan Stackhouse-Bosquez and Ramon Bosquez. Susan Stackhouse-Bosquez led her company, Stellar Partners Inc., into a national award-winning brand, operating 40 stores in 15 airports across the U.S. Since selling the business in 2016, she has devoted her time to helping women entrepreneurs pursue their dreams and serves on the boards of several nonprofits that support women’s issues.

Ramon Bosquez is an investor/partner in Seedfunders LLC, an early-stage venture capital group based in St. Petersburg. He has had an extensive career as a senior corporate executive, entrepreneur and business owner. He was president and CEO of one of the largest travel retail companies, Duty Free International. Following that, he joined Stellar Partners Inc. and was a key strategist in driving the company’s growth and developing Stellar into a national brand in the travel retail sector. He is also a part-time faculty member in entrepreneurship at The University of Tampa.
