Payment Options
Payment options include credit card payments, monthly installment or deferred payment plans and other methods of payment. Benefits are available for veterans, medically disabled students or family members of University faculty and staff.

Financial Aid
To be eligible for federal financial aid, students enroll in at least four hours per semester or two hours per seven-week session. Graduate students taking at least eight credit hours per semester are considered full-time.

Scholarships
Florida League for Nursing Research Grant
This grant is available for research involving the process of inquiry on knowledge development for nursing. To qualify, you must be a registered nurse, a member of the NLN/FLN in good standing (send copy of membership card) and plan to conduct nursing research in accordance with the ANA Codes for Nurses.
Florida League for Nursing Scholarship
MSN matriculating students can apply for the Florida League for Nursing Scholarship. Students must be current members of the Florida League for Nursing and a Florida resident for at least one year. Students must complete a minimum of six semester credits in the approved program with grades of B or better and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, submit two letters of recommendation and an essay. Applications are available in the Department of Nursing.
Gerrie Helwig Scholarship – Funded by the Florida Council of peri Operative Registered Nurses, this scholarship provides financial assistance to a student interested in the specialty of peri operative nursing.

Federal Nurse Traineeships
Applicants may be full-time or part-time students. Part-time students must be within one calendar year of completion to be eligible. Preference is given to students who establish a commitment to working with under-served populations upon graduation. Traineeships are available for spring and fall terms only. Amounts vary each year based upon the federal budget. Applications are available in the nursing department in July.
Veterans Seeking Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner Program Certificates
Veterans or other eligible persons admitted to the University will be approved individually. Evaluation of credentials is submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs for approval so that the credit hours needed to complete the program can be determined. See the VA Representative in the Registrar's Office for certification.

Half-Time Graduate Assistantships – Available only to students enrolled half-time in the MSN program, the half-time assistantship offers tuition for three courses (total of nine credit hours) during the academic year. The annual stipend is $1,500. Students work 10 hours per week. Interested students may apply to the
Department of Nursing. Full-time assistantships are available to full-time students. See the
