M.S. in Accounting Admission
Admission is competitive and students are encouraged to apply early. Applications are not reviewed until the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies receives all required materials. To apply, please use either paper (

online application. Students are notified of an admission decision after materials have been received and evaluated.
Application Requirements and Documents for M.S. in Accounting
- Completed application
- $40 application fee
- Official transcripts of all previous college work received directly from each institution.
- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is required.
- Two professional reference forms (PDF) completed by individuals who attest to the applicant's professional background and academic potential.
- Résumé
- Personal statement
- Individual interviews are recommended but not required.
- Work experience is not required.
- International applicants: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score report.
Applicants without an undergraduate accounting degree may be admitted as a full degree-seeking student; however, all applicants will be required to complete course prerequisites.
Application deadlines:
Fall semester:
- Domestic applicants: June 1 for priority admission or July 15 for final admission. After July 15 applications will be accepted based on space availability.
- International applicants: June 1 for final admission
Spring semester:
- Domestic applicants: Nov. 1 for priority admission or Dec. 15 for final admission. After Dec. 15 applications will be accepted based on space availability.
- International applicants: Nov. 1 for final admission
