Michael Stasio specializes in clinical psychology. Professional and Community Activities:
Stasio’s research is currently focused on clinical aspects of perfectionism. He works with a small group of undergraduates each year, many of whom seek research experience prior to applying to graduate school. Investigations of perfectionism and psychological adjustment have included studies on personal standards and evaluative concerns among honors students and links among perfectionism, social anxiety and body image disturbance. Past projects have examined perfectionism in the contexts of mood, memory and sexuality. Stasio also serves as the Psychology Department's internship coordinator.
