Corinna Vallianatos is the author of a story
collection, My Escapee, which won the Grace Paley Prize for Short
Fiction, selected by Jhumpa Lahiri, and was a New York Times Book Review Editors'
Choice. Her stories have appeared in Tin House, McSweeney's, A
Public Space, The Kenyon Review, The Idaho Review and
elsewhere, and have been included three times on the Best American Short
Stories' Notable list. She's been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony and the
Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and she lives near Los Angeles.
