The 7th Annual Turkey Burn is Saturday!
Come "burn the bird" with us on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the McNiff Fitness Center. Your favorite fitness instructors will be leading this high energy workout in three rounds: cardio, strength training and core work, followed by a flowing yogic stretch. This indoor/outdoor workout is a great test of your fitness, motivation and determination — but don't fret. FUN is our top priority! The first 25 participants to check-in will receive a free T-shirt.
Two New Programs to Debut in the Spring
Be on the look out for information on two new services that will be available at the start of the Spring 2014 semester. You will be able to work one on one with your favorite McNiff yoga instructors in personal yoga sessions, just like personal training! This will be a great opportunity to deepen your practice, utilize yoga for weight loss, for stress management or just improve your technique! Either way, you will have yoga instruction catered to you.
A new long term bicycle rental program called Adopt-a-Bike will begin accepting applications at the start of the semester. We hope to have all of our bikes "adopted" by mid-February. The bicycle adoption will allow students to keep a bike for an entire semester or year and will operate separately from the BikeUT daily rental program. More details will be posted on the BikeUT rental page during winter break.
