Leadership Studies Minor

View eBrochure
The interdisciplinary Minor in Leadership Studies is coordinated by the TECO Center for Leadership and is designed for students who want to further develop leadership competencies and skills. Students complete three required Leadership courses and then choose three Leadership electives from an approved list. In conjunction with their coursework and in consultation with their leadership advisor, students complete a number of experiential activities (90 hours minimum). They document and reflect on these experiences in a leadership portfolio which is evaluated at the end of each semester.

Students apply on a rolling basis for acceptance to the program beginning the following fall term. Upon acceptance, students enroll in the UT Co-Curricular Transcript program and will be assigned a leadership advisor who will guide them through the program.
