Career Specialties: Jeffrey Skowronek specializes in several aspects of memory development in young children. His research has included studies focusing on memory processes in children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), parental perceptions of children's memory abilities, parental influences on children's event memories and gender differences in memory uses in the classroom.
In addition, he has also been involved with studies focusing on various issues in infancy, temperament and education.
Professional and Community Activities: Skowronek is a member of the Society for Research in Child Development, the American Psychological Society and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology.
