Career Specialties: Dr. Woodson is currently researching behavioral neuroscience. He is working to provide a better understanding for the brain’s stress-memory interactions and possibly develop drug treatment for the adverse effects of stress on memory. He has also studied the interactions between socio-sexual experience and structural sex differences within the brain.
Professional and Community Activities: In addition to his numerous publications, Dr. Woodson has presented his research more than 14 times at international conferences such as the Society for Neuroscience, Experimental Biology, and the Society for Behavioral Neuroendocrinology. His work has been featured at the European Brain & Behavior Society meeting in Barcelona and has also been covered by
