New International Student Orientation

All new international students must check-in with the Office of International Programs no later than the first week of classes.

Immigration regulations require that the Office of International Programs has your current local address, telephone number and photocopies of immigration documentation. Transfer students have only 15 days from the first day of class to submit their documents or they will be considered out of status.

All international students must attend the New International Student Orientation that precedes the New Undergraduate Student Orientation program during the fall and spring terms (see schedule below). Students can learn valuable information, ask questions and meet other students.
The orientation sessions provide information on:
  • Immigration Rights and Responsibilities
  • Health and Wellness
  • Cultural Issues and Life at UT
  • Academic Center for Excellence and Campus Life
  • Getting Involved on Campus
  • Campus Career Resources
  • Survival Skills
  • College Policies
  • Safety and Responsibility
Please fill out the appropriate arrival form and return it to the Office of International Programs so we know when to expect you.
