2018-2019 Housing Selection Information

Only current residential students (includes those studying abroad or interning through UT) may participate in this process. All continuing students who wish to live on campus for 2018-2019 must complete these steps:
- Step 1: COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION
Dec. 1, 2017 – Feb. 15, 2018
Eligible students will have access to the application in Residence by Symplicity. Completed applications must be submitted by Feb. 15, 2018. Form roommate groups of any size throughout the process.
- Step 2: SELECT YOUR SPACE
Feb. 22, 2018 – March 2, 2018
Select your space in Residence by Symplicity at your assigned selection time. On Feb. 21, selection times will be assigned randomly giving priority to those with the fewest numbers of semesters on campus. You may select a space either by yourself or with other students. The group selection time will be the median of its members. Adding or removing members may impact the group selection time. Spaces will be available in Barrymore Hotel, Brevard, Jenkins, Palm, Straz and Urso.
- Step 3: OFF-CAMPUS FAIR
April 5, 2018, 11 a.m. - 2p.m.
We encourage you to explore off-campus housing options in the Vaughn lobby. We anticipate more than 20 local communities and agencies will be in attendance.
- Step 4: CANCELATION OPTIONS
June 1, 2018
Deadline to cancel: Cancelation requests are in Residence by Symplicity.
Deadline to register for classes full-time: You must be a full-time student to keep your room on campus.
- Step 5: CHECK IN
Aug. 25, 2018
Residence Halls open for continuing students on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018. Deadline to arrive, check in and claim your room key is Aug. 27. Your space will not be held beyond Aug. 27 without prior written notice providing your anticipated date of arrival.
