In 2004 I moved to Tampa in order to attend the University of Tampa undergraduate program. I immediately felt at home and loved the community atmosphere. I graduated in 2008 with my bachelor’s degree in marketing. When deciding which graduate program to attend, I chose UT again because of the distinguished reputation and the great respect I developed for the business program.

The curriculum and resources available to students has exceeded my expectations. I’ve learned so much about my field due to the in-depth, real world education the teachers bring to the classroom that simply can’t be taught in a textbook. The advisors serve as a great resource to assist students in assessing their educational needs and academic potential. There are many career workshops where we can meet local business leaders and learn how to grow as a business professional. UT’s Career Services office is an incredible aid to the future endeavors of the students. Since we have a smaller campus, it’s very easy to develop close relationships with your peers.

Attending UT has helped me grow a great appreciation for the city of Tampa, so I hope to acquire a full-time job in the area; however, I’m open to any opportunities that may arise. I will pursue a career in marketing in a corporate setting so that I can apply the knowledge and skills I acquired over the past few years.
