Orientation for Graduate Students in the College of Business

UT ENGAGE is a part of the orientation program for all graduate students starting in these programs:

MBA and Professional MBA
M.S. in Accounting,
M.S. in Cybersecurity, M.S. in Entrepreneurship, M.S. in Finance and M.S. in Marketing

New students should complete UT CONNECT on Blackboard prior to attending UT ENGAGE. For additional information, contact the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies at grad@ut.edu or (813) 257-1713 with questions. New students who are not U.S. citizens may also want to consult the Office of International Programs

Fall 2019

Date: Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019
Location: Vaughn Center (see campus map), second floor
Time:

  • Check-In and Resource Fair, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Vaughn Center, second floor. The resource fair features representatives from campus offices to answer students' questions about tuition payments, access to technology systems, advising, ID cards, parking, books, international travel, student organizations, career services and more. Students who have recently attended UT are not required to participate in the resource fair; however, if you have questions, it is a good time to get them answered.
  • General session, starts at 5:30 p.m. ATTENDANCE REQUIRED for all students starting graduate school in the Sykes College of Business (except Executive MBA, see below).
  • Following the general session at about 7:30, there will be a reception in the Sykes College of Business for the M.S. and PMBA students, and the MBA students will begin their Fast Start program.

Parking: Parking is available in the Thomas Parking Garage at the corner of North Boulevard and Frederic H. Spaulding Drive. Enter from Frederic H. Spaulding Drive.View the campus map for other parking locations.

MBA students enrolled in MGT 598 Leading for Performance will begin their Fast Start workshop immediately following the ENGAGE program.
