One of the most important ways you can express your personal commitment to The University of Tampa is through an outright gift. Outright gifts provide immediate support for UT and its students. As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, all gifts to the University are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Honorary and Memorial Gifts

An honorary gift can be made to The University of Tampa to honor...

An honorary gift can be made to The University of Tampa to honor a person during his or her lifetime or to commemorate a significant event. A memorial gift to UT can be made to help perpetuate the values and ideals that guided a loved one’s life. 

Families of those honored will be notified of the donor’s gift.

A charitable gift of appreciated stock or mutual fund shares allows...

A charitable gift of appreciated stock or mutual fund shares allows donors to:

  • Avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in value of stock or mutual fund shares;
  • Receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value when contribution was made; and
  • Enhance the educational opportunities for UT students.
