Any information pertaining to the disability and/or medical/mental health condition of a student remains confidential. Access to confidential information is given only to relevant staff within Student Accessibility and Academic Support (Student Accessibility Services - SAS) and the assistant dean of Academic Services, if needed.

If a student needs access to documentation previously submitted to SAS, the student must make a request via email to the director of Student Accessibility and Academic Support, detailing what information is to be released, as well as why and how the information will be used. The associate director will consider the request and make a decision on access.

As all files through SAS are digital, all digital files will remain with SAS indefinitely.
Questions concerning the confidentiality of disability-related information can be directed to the director of Student Accessibility and Academic Support at (813) 257-5757 or accessibility.services@ut.edu
