Families may become partners with the Office of Career Services
in two significant ways: referring employment opportunities and volunteering to serve as mentors.
Refer Employment Opportunities
The Office of Career Services continually networks to offer the widest array of employment opportunities for our students and graduates no matter the career interest or geographic location. You can be a significant partner in that process by making us aware of employment opportunities with your employer. You may:
- Complete the Job Posting form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org; or
- Email a copy of your employer’s job posting with full contact information for the recruiter to email@example.com; or
- Encourage your human resources representatives to create a login on HIRE-UT to post their positions at no cost.
Become a Mentor
Students with various majors and career interests are seeking professionals in career fields of interest to network. Families may lend their advice and guidance through such things as: informational interviews, job shadowing, industry information, relocation tips, mock interviews and resume/cover letter critiques. If you are interested in become a mentor volunteer, complete the Volunteer Interest form
and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
