In order to vote in elections, you must be a United States citizen, be 18 years old, be a legal resident of the state (there is no length of residency requirement), not be adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting, and not have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored.

Voter Registration drives
The University of Tampa is holding two official voter registration drives on campus during the first week of academic classes. Please visit the Vaughn Center lobby, on Tuesday, Aug.28, and Wednesday, Aug.29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A representative from the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office will be present to answer any questions in regards to your specific voter registration.
