Medical services director, Valerie Kiefer, DNP, APRN, ANP-BC plans, directs and coordinates the medical and health services at the health center, as well as practices as a nurse practitioner.
Medical Doctor (MD)
A medical doctor diagnoses, treats and helps prevent diseases and injuries that commonly occur in the general population. May refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)
APRNs diagnose and treat acute, episodic illnesses, independently or as part of a healthcare team. They may focus on health promotion and disease prevention and may order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication.

Physician Assistant (PA)
As are medical providers who are licensed to diagnose and treat illness and disease and to prescribe medication for patients. They work in physician offices, hospitals and clinics in collaboration with a licensed physician.
