Student Presentations at Professional Scientific Meetings

The Department of Biology has a more than 30-year history of sending students to professional scientific meetings to present the results of their research projects in oral and/or poster formats. Since 1980, over 100 students have presented the results of their research at international, national, regional, and local meetings, and over 30 students won awards or honorable mentions for their presentations.

The following is a list of presentations and posters given and awards received at professional meetings since 1980. UT student names appear in bold text. Citations are for oral presentations unless indicated otherwise (in parentheses).
