CLEP Testing

Students can receive college credit by earning qualifying scores on one or more of the 32 CLEP examinations UT accepts. More than 2,900 colleges and universities in the United States will recognize your comprehensive subject knowledge acquired through independent or prior study, cultural pursuits, special interests, internships or professional development. Each CLEP exam can earn three to six college credits (more for foreign languages).

The cost of the CLEP exam is $77, in addition to a $15 institutional fee payable to the University of Tampa, a fraction of the tuition for the corresponding course. You may pay for the CLEP portion by check, money order or credit card. Payment to the University of Tampa must be check or money order only.
