Request to Add a Closed Course

Waitlist Replaces Closed Class Process for Fall 2013 Early Registration

Beginning with Fall 2013 registration, the University will no longer have a separate process for students to request registration into closed classes. Instead, while registering, students will have the opportunity to enroll in a closed section waitlist, available on every class that has closed.

Waitlisting for Fall 2013 early registration is now concluded and waitlist registrations are dropped as of April 30, 2013.

Department chairs have completed their reviews of waitlists. If you received a message from SpartanWeb telling you that you were authorized to add a closed section, you may still register for the section until the department chair removes the authorization. The section must fit into your schedule without a time conflict and within your maximum allowable credit hours.

If you have not been moved into a requested section, or have not received an email authorization to add a closed section, you should now complete your Fall 2013 schedule using open sections.

Registration for Fall 2013 classes remains open for all students until the end of the drop-add period at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.
