William Doyle specializes in rhetorics of space and place, creative nonfiction and ecocomposition.

Professional and Community Activities:

Doyle has been involved with research on students’ genre knowledge as they enter first-year writing courses as well as students’ transfer of rhetorical knowledge across print, digital and oral media. He is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment.
