Career Specialties
Virginie Kharé specializes in international marketing, consumer behavior, ethnic marketing, nonprofit marketing and services marketing. She has published articles in the International Business Review, Management International Review, Journal of Marketing Development and Competitiveness, Journal of the International Academy for Case Studies, Journal of Marketing for Higher Education and Journal of Teaching in International Business and several refereed conference proceedings.
Professional and Community Activities:
In addition to teaching college courses for more than 10 years, Kharé’s professional experience includes work in marketing analysis for Progressive Insurance, a Fortune 500 company. She has also conducted multiple research projects as consultant for service companies. Kharé is a cultural business consultant for IOR Global Services, helping prepare future expatriates for experiences with different business cultures. Kharé is a member of the Academy of Marketing, the Academy of International Business and of CEDIMES Institute. She is also a contributing editor of the Journal of Global Commerce Research.
