UT T-Shirt Exchange to Benefit Metropolitan Ministries

As part of celebrating College Colors Day 2014 on Aug. 29, University of Tampa students had the opportunity to exchange old T-shirts from other universities and colleges for a new University of Tampa Spartans “Put Red and Black on Your Back” T-shirt.

Overall, students turned in 124 T-shirts from institutions ranging from Boston College, Florida State University, University of Connecticut, University of North Carolina, Stanford University and numerous others. Now, those T-shirts will be donated this week to Metropolitan Ministries.

The T-shirt exchange was sponsored by Barnes & Noble at The University of Tampa.
