Dr. Hendrix specializes in the chemistry and analysis of sea water.
Steven Hendrix participated in the design and construction of prototype chemical analysis instrumentation, utilizing advanced data acquisition and control software.<br/><br/>Since 1993, he has worked with the Center of Ocean Technologies at USF, collaborating on the development and construction of autonomous underwater vehicles to be used for U.S. Navy anti-mine activities and oceanographic studies. These unmanned submarines are rigged to gather and analyze water samples.
