Prominent Journalist and Media Commentator to Discuss Cuban Embargo on April 27

Two prominent leaders from the Tampa Bay community will discuss the Cuban embargo on Monday, April 27, at 6 p.m. in the Grand Salon in Plant Hall at The University of Tampa.

Patrick Manteiga, editor and publisher of La Gaceta newspaper, and E.J. Otero, a military and political media commentator and intelligence consultant, will lead the discussion. The event will be moderated by former Fox News 13 anchor John Wilson.

The event, titled “Cuba: Embargo or Not?,” is free and open to the public. The program will begin with a meet and greet at 6 p.m., and the discussion will commence at 6:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by United Nations Association Tampa Bay, Global Action Coalition and the University of Tampa United Nations Student Alliance.
