Career Specialties: Pina Holway specializes in adolescents and young adults, families and health.
Professional and Community Activities: Holway’s work centers around two major themes. First, she is interested in the link between family and health. Specifically, she is concerned with (1) romantic partner influences on health; and (2) health concordance within couples. Second, she is interested in youths’ sexual trajectories, examining how sexual initiation influences long-term health and relationship experiences, as well as identifying demographic factors that help to shape sexual experiences.
