We teach dances, languages, games and history. We believe Africa is a very rich continent. In fact, to come to our meetings, you don't have to be African; you just have to be Afro-curious.

    • Description: Alpha Chi Omega is one 26 National Panhellenic sororities around the country, and one of seven sororities here on campus. We were founded in 1885 at Depaw University in Greencastle, IN. Our chapter was the first at The University of Tampa and was chartered in 1956. Our members work diligently towards raising funds and awareness for domestic violence prevention. We work with The Spring of Tampa Bay as well as the Crisis Center with women, children and men who have fallen victims of domestic violence. We educate the campus on healthy relationships, and we are 100 percent a non-hazing campus organization. Our sisters are smart and dedicated young women who have found everything they were looking for among each other and within the sisterhood.
