Dr. Favata specializes in Spanish history, language and culture.Professional and Community Activities:
Dr. Favata has written, taught and lectured widely on Latin American
subjects, particularly cultural issues. He translated with Jose B.
Fernandez the autobiographical account of Cabeza de Vaca's astounding
16th century trek from Florida, across Texas and down to Mexico City.
He has made presentations on Latin American language and culture with
respect to international business. Dr. Favata has taught several
courses in Mexico.
