Career SpecialtiesKari Jones specializes in health economics, emphasis on efficiency in health care delivery, public health, healthcare access, cost effectiveness, cost measurement, and predictive analytics and analysis of "big data" for health providers.
Professional and Community Activities:In addition to teaching, Jones performs academic research and quantitative analysis for public- and private-sector clients on a consultancy basis, including designing and programming software for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for evaluating public health programs' effectiveness and cost effectiveness. She enjoys working with, and mentoring, graduate students with similar academic interests, and is passionate about solving issues of healthcare access for the underserved.
