Dr. Joshua Hall specializes in international macroeconomics with a focus on the dynamics of income inequality in developing countries.Dr. Hall also does both theoretical and empirical research in the areas of economic growth, international trade and industrial organization.Professional and Community Activities:
Dr. Hall graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia in 2010. While in graduate school, Dr. Hall presented his research at many professional economics conferences across the United States and internationally at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.In addition, he actively participated in research seminars at Drexel, refereed many top economics journals and, prior to joining Drexel University, worked briefly at Morgan Stanley in Philadelphia.He joined the economics department at The University of Tampa in the fall of 2010. Dr. Joshua Hall was awarded the university wide, Drexel University Research Award in 2009, and was named the LeBow College of Business Outstanding Student Instructor Award in 2009. He was also the
recipient of a faculty development grant from The University of Tampa
which will allow him to attend a seminar on Economic Development in
Shanghai, China.
