Career Specialties: J.C. Andersen specializes in evidence-based practice, therapeutic interventions, administrative and legal issues, and emergency preparedness in sports medicine. He also specializes in running related injury assessment, prevention and rehabilitation.
Professional and Community Activities: Andersen’s research interests are in internal and external load monitoring during athletic performance, therapeutic intervention effectiveness, clinical reasoning in athletic training practice, pain science and running related injuries.
He serves as an accreditation site visitor for the Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
