Give Day Shows Spartans are #allinforUT

What do pie and University of Tampa scholarships have in common? UT Give Day!

Over the course of 24 hours, thousands of students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and UT community members will show they are #allinforUT through their generosity in the University’s fourth annual give day event.

On April 23, #allinforUT will unite the Spartan community with one goal in mind – supporting and propelling our Spartans by believing in their potential and showing it with their generosity, giving them all the tools they need to be Spartan Ready.

The clock starts ticking at midnight on April 23 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT for the 24-hour, university-wide crowdfunding effort that allows people to give to as many of the 30 projects as they choose, from programs and services to athletics and academics.

As a private university, UT depends on the philanthropic support of the community it serves. Because the University cannot be sustained by tuition alone, all donations are greatly appreciated and are used to continue a tradition of academic excellence. All gifts, regardless of size, add up to have an enormous impact and show how the Spartan family is all in for UT, no matter where in the world they call home.

There will be activities throughout the day on campus including a pieathon, Presidential Cart Ride, a social media scavenger hunt, as well as more than $50,000 in matching gift challenges for alumni, parents and friends. All of the details, including the various challenges to make your dollar go even further, are at www.ut.edu/allinforut/.

For those unable to participate on April 23, donations can be made online starting April 19 and will count in Give Day matches.

For more information on the events, visit www.ut.edu/allinforut or contact Jennifer Tyler, director of annual giving, at (813) 258-7401 or jtlyer@ut.edu.
